After Friday's brutal scene with Josiah Didier, Florian Xhekaj quickly showed the Abbotsford Canucks and the league that the Laval Rocket doesn't forget easily.

As we reported this morning, Chase Stillman violently slammed him to the ground before giving him an extra blow while he was already injured and lying on the ice...
A very unnecessary and dangerous act that angered the entire Rocket locker room.
I must admit that I myself was very frustrated after seeing that horrifying scene.

Florian Xhekaj avenges his teammate Josiah Didier in the very first minute of play

Right from the start of the rematch on Saturday afternoon, Florian Xhekaj made sure to send his message.
Indeed, after only 55 seconds of play, he went straight at Stillman to make it clear that his actions from the night before would not go unnoticed.
The fight lasted only a few moments, but the message itself was clear.
Xhekaj quickly sent Stillman to the ice, thrilling the crowd as a symbolic act of revenge.
"Xhekaj didn't (really) take long to sort it all out"

I believe this is exactly the kind of teammate you want in your locker room. Another proof that Florian has incredible potential.
Personally, I think Xhekaj just earned even more respect in Laval and maybe even in Montreal.
He didn't just defend Didier - he also reminded everyone that the Rocket will not be intimidated.
