Montreal Canadiens prospect Bryce Pickford is off to a magical start with the WHL's Medicine Hat Tigers, netting his eighth goal of the season against Victoria.
This goal, scored on a one-timer '
Patrik Laine style' late in the second period, shows the power of his shot.
The 19-year-old defenseman keeps proving that he's not just a defensive player but a true offensive asset.
In addition to that goal, he added an assist in the 5-4 loss to Victoria, bringing his total to seven goals and four assists in ten games.

A Montreal Canadiens prospect on the rise in the WHL
Drafted this year, it's still possible for Pickford to join the professional ranks as early as 2026-2027 if he signs his entry-level contract.
Otherwise, another interesting option is available to him... a stint in the NCAA, where several scouts would like to see him play.
The case of Gavin McKenna comes to mind.
And Pickford isn't the only one standing out among the Canadiens' prospects.
Michael Hage is currently dominating at the University of Michigan with eleven points in just six games, while L.J. Mooney has four points in six NCAA games.
I find that this new generation of prospects brings even more energy to Montreal and to the fanbase.
If things keep going like this, the future of the Habs could be really exciting.
