Canadiens Announce Tonight's Lineup Against Senators With Three Notable Absences
The Montreal Canadiens have unveiled their lineup for tonight's game, and already, fans are reacting strongly.
The announcement was made this morning at practice, as the team will hit the road shortly for the matchup at the Videotron Centre tonight.
The game will be broadcast on RDS, TSN2, and TSN5.

It should be noted that Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield and Juraj Slafkovsky will not be playing tonight, absences that will not go unnoticed in the lineup.

Well-deserved rest for these impact players. I was certainly expecting the CH to dress these players for the game in Quebec, but St-Louis decided to go with the younger players.
The trio of Zachary Bolduc with Kirby Dach and Brendan Gallagher could create an interesting dynamic, mixing energy, physicality, and offensive creativity.
I'm also very excited to see Veleno with Laine. I loved what I saw from Veleno in the last game, and perhaps mixing him with an offensive-caliber player like Patrik Laine could help him on attack.
This promises to be an exciting game, as Tim Stutzle reignites the Canadiens-Senators rivalry with his bold comments.

Finally, the player to watch in my opinion remains Florian Xhekaj. I truly think he has a chance to earn a spot with the Canadiens, but he must impress Martin St-Louis tonight.
