Last-minute acquisition by the Canadiens: Hughes did his homework
The Montreal Canadiens have just announced the official signing of a promising forward in the organization. Kent Hughes has done his homework in every aspect.
Indeed, Luke Tuch has officially agreed to a two-season contract with the Canadiens, and there's more.
The younger brother of Alex Tuch from the Buffalo Sabres has also signed an agreement with the Laval Rocket to finish the current season with them.
He will officially make his debut in professional hockey within the Canadiens' organization. This is excellent news!
It was still uncertain whether Tuch intended to sign with Montreal. There were rumors that it would happen, but nothing was certain.
The confirmation now takes the pressure off Hughes. It's a very good signing, as Tuch is the perfect prototype of a power forward.
