The Montreal Canadiens prospect David Reinbacher scores a superb goal in his first game with the Laval Rocket
David Reinbacher finally played his first game in North America with the Laval Rocket, and he didn't disappoint. In the 3rd period, the Montreal Canadiens prospect scored a superb goal to tie the game 2-2.
Indeed, the defenseman took possession of the puck in the neutral zone, then undressed the opposing defenseman and beat the opposing goalie with a precise shot.
A very encouraging sequence for Canadiens fans, who have high hopes for him. It's safe to say that it's off to a great start.
In 35 games with Kloten this season, in Switzerland, he scored one goal and recorded 10 assists. It's worth repeating that Reinbacher's talent isn't just offensive; he's a very complete defenseman who played for a very poor team.
It will be interesting to follow him for the rest of the season after such a strong debut. Besides his goal, he played well and didn't seem too lost despite not being used to the smaller rinks.
