He has notably established himself as one of the NHL's top fighters throughout the season, notably knocking out the tough guy from the Arizona Coyotes, Zach Kassian.

Ahead of the first duel of the season against the Maple Leafs, the defenseman was asked about the possibility of facing none other than Ryan Reaves. His response clearly pleased CH fans, mentioning that it wouldn't be surprising if the two players clash multiple times during the match.
Clearly, the 22-year-old is not afraid of the idea of measuring up against one of the NHL's best fighters!
He also sent a message to journalists who wished he would reduce his number of fights this year to avoid a new shoulder injury. Clearly, Arber Xhekaj has no intention of stopping dropping the gloves, always ready to defend his teammates if the team needs him.
Certainly, it's good to see a player who is constantly ready to sacrifice for the well-being of his teammates. Once again, the defenseman proves that he indeed plays for the logo on the front of his jersey, not the name on the back.
At 22 years old, Arber Xhekaj had an excellent rookie season last year, scoring five goals and eight assists (thirteen points) in 51 games. Moreover, the defenseman from Hamilton accumulated an impressive total of 101 penalty minutes.
