As several rumors incessantly send the newcomer to the Canadiens, Jeff Petry, to another NHL team, given the possible league interest with his reduced contract, a curious photo has resurfaced on social media.
Indeed, as Hockey Le Magazine very well indicates, it's not just surprised or disappointed players in the Canadiens' locker room, as a photo involving the Petrys, as well as Cole Caufield, has made the rounds on the web in the last few hours.
«We know two great friends who must be eagerly looking forward to being teammates again!»
For those who did not know, the little sharpshooter from the CH had a very close relationship with the 35-year-old defenseman. In fact, he and Nick Suzuki were both close to the Petry family.
Although Jeff's fate seems to be traded again to free up a spot in the club's lineup, as well as capitalize on his market value, there is nevertheless a real chance to see him start the year in Montreal, especially since he has a special connection with several young players on the team.
Let's wait and see what Kent Hughes has in store for us, but it would not be so surprising if he is in the starting lineup next October.
