A dangerous scene from yesterday's warm-up surfaces involving two players from the Canadiens
During the Canadiens' first game of the season, a dangerous incident occurred during the warm-up period in Toronto.
Here are the images in question:
Brendan Gallagher solidly collided with the young Juraj Slafkovsky, as he wasn't paying attention to players entering the ice and wasn't wearing a helmet. Ouch!
A serious injury could have occurred to number 11, even before the new campaign began. Fortunately, both players, but especially Gally, who seemed stunned by the impact, still played the game.
Given the fiery forward's injury history, it's the kind of sequence we don't like to see and which could have had serious consequences.
