Arber Xhekaj Delivered a Strong Message to the Heavyweights that will Make Fans Smile

Among the players who took part in media interviews today was Arber Xhekaj. The 22-year-old will play his second professional season, and, after making a sensation by already establishing himself as one of the most robust players in the league, Xhekaj will have big shoes to fill looking ahead to the next season.

While several heavyweights will arrive in the Canadiens' division, we can think here of Ryan Reaves in Toronto and Milan Lucic in Boston notably, the defenseman was questioned about these additions among the rival teams.

True to form, he did not back down at all, sending a strong message for the upcoming season.

The young man, who is known for not being faint-hearted, added that the show will be very interesting and he will do everything to protect his teammates.

Although fights are less and less appreciated in the NHL, it must still be admitted that it is very pleasant to have such a player in the Canadiens' lineup, acting as an insurance policy for his teammates, especially since he can also bring a very high level of play on the ice.
