BREAKING: Carey Price officially left Montreal today
Although he is still under contract with the Canadiens, we all knew that Carey Price's NHL career was now over, having only played five games over the last two seasons.
In fact, in recent months, Carey Price put his Montreal home up for sale. His wife, Angela, subsequently confirmed on her Instagram account that they were moving back to Kelowna in British Columbia to be closer to their family. Price's days in Quebec were therefore numbered.
However, in an Instagram story posted earlier this morning, Angela Price officially announced that the family was leaving Montreal today. Paul Byron was notably present to say goodbye to his teammate before his departure to Western Canada.
It's a page in history turning for the Montreal Canadiens as Carey Price has, without a doubt, been one of the best goaltenders to have played with the Tricolore. We wish him all the happiness in the world in his new life!
