Breaking about Nick Suzuki's injury: the Canadiens look really bad
During interviews with several members of the Montreal Canadiens, including captain Nick Suzuki, we learned a few things about the next season, but also about the last one.
The captain made a controversial revelation about last year's catastrophic season. He admitted that he, too, was injured.
« It turns out that Suzuki was also injured last year. This really isn't news that makes the (former) medical department/management look good.
The season was over, let the man rest, lose a few more games and get a top 4 pick.
It's really staggering to see how this could happen for two consecutive seasons. »
- Habs Fan TV
As the popular Habs Fan TV clearly states, it made no sense to continue playing him. The medical team preferred to risk the health of the team's best player, in a losing cause, when there was absolutely nothing left to gain, apart from aggravating an already existing injury.
It's hard to believe that this kind of situation could have occurred, especially when the Habs have been the league's worst team in terms of games missed due to injury for the past two seasons.
Changes absolutely had to be made within the organization, and we can't wait to see the results in the next campaign.
