In a shocking turn of events at today's World Hockey Championship, David Reinbacher, a young hotshot ranked among the top ten prospects for the upcoming draft and a potential target for the Montreal Canadiens, suffered a severe injury following a hip check by Rasmus Sandin.
Following this unfortunate incident, Reinbacher had to be escorted from the game and rushed to the hospital. The footage of the scene is gut-wrenching, to say the least.
Such a serious injury could potentially throw a wrench in his draft selection prospects.
We will be closely monitoring this situation and will provide further updates as they come in.
