As the series between the Golden Knights and the Stars continues to a fifth game, following an overtime victory yesterday that prevented a sweep in Dallas, Gary Bettman and the NHL just made an announcement regarding the remainder of the playoffs.
Two scenarios are presented depending on the outcome of this Saturday's 5th duel. If the Knights win, the Stanley Cup final will begin on May 31st.
However, if the Stars extend the series again and it would conclude in six or seven games, the final round will only begin on June 3rd.
