Jeff Petry makes a big comment towards Samuel Montembeault

The Montreal Canadiens defenseman Jeff Petry made a statement that is buzzing on the web.
This comes as the fate of the Pittsburgh Penguins was entirely in the hands of the Canadiens. He was asked if he had confidence in Samuel Montembeault.
Jeff Petry on former Montreal teammate Sam Montenbeault, the Canadiens' scheduled starting goaltender tonight:
"He's got the ability to shut the door. So hopefully, he has a good game.» - Seth Rorabaugh
Indeed, in order to give the Pittsburgh Penguins a chance to qualify for the 2023 playoffs, the Montreal Canadiens had to win against the New York Islanders tonight. Unfortunately for Jeff Petry and his teammates, it didn't happen.
During his first season with the Pittsburgh Penguins, Jeff Petry obtained 31 points, including 5 goals. It seems that his performance did not live up to expectations.
