Last-minute announcement: two number changes have been announced for the Canadiens
It has just been announced by the Montreal Canadiens that there have been two number changes among the players in the organization.
These changes will be made just before the first game of the Rookie Tournament, as David Reinbacher has opted for 64, the same number he wears in Switzerland, and Florian Xhekaj will have 96.
So we can understand that the 36 that Reinbacher has been wearing until now was not his regular number. He should therefore have this same number when he joins the Canadiens as a regular player in the coming years.
Let's remember that the young players of the Tricolore will face the powerful prospects of the Buffalo Sabres tonight, at 7 p.m.
