Yesterday afternoon, the head coach of the Remparts, Patrick Roy, and the team president, Jacques Tanguay, summoned the media for a press conference this morning at 10 am regarding their future in the QMJHL.
However, even though an official announcement will only take place in a few hours, the Journal de Québec has received vital information related to what will be mentioned during the conference. Indeed, despite winning the Gilles Courteau Cup and the Memorial Cup, the two men would officially leave the Quebec Remparts organization.
This is major news for the Quebec team and suggests a possibility of seeing the former Colorado Avalanche coach make a return to the NHL next year.
