Signing alert: Filip Zadina's next team is known and it could turn out to be a steal
We have just learned where free agent Filip Zadina will be playing next year, as he has just agreed to play for the San Jose Sharks for one season. He will pocket a salary of $1.1M in the process.
This signing could become a major coup for the Sharks organization, as the 23-year-old forward will have the opportunities to prove himself in a lineup that is sorely lacking in talent.
This 6th overall pick from the 2018 draft will look to revive his career, he who has never managed to establish himself with the Detroit Red Wings, after five professional seasons.
He has a total of 28 goals and 68 points in 190 games in the NHL. He was limited to 30 games this year, scoring only three goals and seven points.
