Indeed, while he is currently participating in the World Championship alongside professional and NHL players, similar to his outstanding season in the NCAA, young Lane Hutson is currently turning heads in the hockey world.
The 19-year-old defenseman just scored his second goal of the tournament in six games, on a beautiful play he created himself, thanks to a turnover in the defensive zone.
Here's the goal and the Canadiens' post about it:
Wow! He now has five points in six games, while being used mainly as a seventh defenseman.
Last May 17, he was even named player of the game, following a performance of a goal and an assist. He is also the youngest player on the American team.
During this game, he scored possibly the most beautiful goal of the World Championship, on a play created again by himself.
He simply doesn't stop amazing us!
