The general managers of the NHL have until 5pm today to submit a qualifying offer to players who would become restricted free agents starting from July 1st.

Kent Hughes has made sure to retain the rights to Alex Newhook, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard, Jesse Ylönen, Lucas Condotta, Mitchell Stephens, and Nicolas Beaudin by submitting them a qualifying offer.

"The general manager of the Montreal Canadiens hockey club, Kent Hughes, announced on Friday that the team had submitted qualifying offers to six players.

The offers were submitted to forwards Alex Newhook, Rafaël Harvey-Pinard, Jesse Ylönen, Lucas Condotta, and Mitchell Stephens, as well as to defenseman Nicolas Beaudin.

Two restricted free agents did not receive qualifying offers: Joel Teasdale and Denis Gurianov." - Montreal Canadiens

This means that Denis Gurianov and Joel Teasdale will be able to test the free agent market tomorrow.

However, the general manager of the Tricolore admitted that he would be open to the idea of bringing back the Russian forward to the Montreal team next season if he accepted to sign a less lucrative offer. So, we'll have to wait a few more days for a definitive answer regarding Denis Gurianov.
