The verdict is finally in for the Canadiens' top prospect
In the final seconds, the Montreal Canadiens announced that the organization's prospect, Logan Mailloux, has been loaned to the Laval Rocket.
"The Canadiens have loaned defenseman Logan Mailloux to the Laval Rocket." - Montreal Canadiens
His camp is therefore over, unlike Mattias Norlinder, and he will not go with his teammates to Mont-Tremblant.
It is somewhat disappointing to see Mailloux being cut before the end of camp and before the last preseason game, but we certainly understand the decision.
We are already very excited to see him in the Rocket's uniform, especially after the good camp he had with the CH.
Matheson, Savard, Guhle, Harris, Xhekaj, Kovacevic, Barron, Norlinder, Lindstrom, and Wideman (injured) are therefore the only defensemen remaining in the camp.
