In Saturday's victory, the Canadiens had more bad news, as Josh Anderson was added to the long list of injured players.

The forward blocked a shorthanded shot and did not return to the game. He showed a lot of courage by staying on the bench and skating to chase away the pain, but he was unable to do so in the end.

Josh Anderson may no longer be very productive, but he is not harming the team. We often say that this is what you have to do when things aren't working very well, to make sure you don't do any harm.

It's a shame to know he's injured, and it seems serious, as the Canadiens announced that they had recalled Lucas Condotta from the Laval Rocket.

It's a reminder of urgency, as the Canadiens play today in Philadelphia. This does not look good for Anderson, but also for Juraj Slafkovsky, who should not be back either.

The Canadiens will therefore cross swords with Matvei Michkov for the first time, while the young sensation is on fire at the start of his career.

He has more than a point per game and he seems to be having fun on the ice. No need to remind you that meanwhile, David Reinbacher is injured until February or March.

Coming back to Lucas Condotta, he is not the most productive player either with his 19 points in 65 games last season, but he is very reliable over 200 feet, which is what the Canadiens are looking for.

He will therefore be added to the already impressive list of young, inexperienced players with Lane Hutson, Logan Mailloux, Oliver Kapanen and Emil Heineman.

Martin St-Louis will face his former coach and good friend and mentor John Tortorella. It's a duel that promises!
