Nick Suzuki isn't only a hockey player, he's a model citizen and we have the proof!
Montreal Canadiens captain Nick Suzuki was featured in one of the team's social media posts, and the reasons are heartwarming.
The Canadiens announced that the captain had raised over $120,000 for very important causes, continuing his involvement in the community with his new wife.
«L'ÎLE-BIZARD - Thursday was a doggone good day!
It was at Golf Saint-Raphaël in L'Île-Bizard that the Canadiens' captain held the second edition of the Heroes Golf Tournament, in support of the Asista Foundation, which helps people dealing with mental health issues through the use of service dogs.
Suzuki, who was named an ambassador for the Asista Foundation in 2022 as part of the A Hero in Each of Us' campaign, helped raise $120,500 during the 2024 edition of the charity event.»

Nick Suzuki shares his thoughts
He continues his exemplary involvement in the community. The Canadiens' captain was moved by the work done by the entire Asista team, a non-profit organization that helps people living with a diagnosis of post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) or autism with a service dog. He spoke about the importance of helping his community.
«Being part of Asista for the past three years has allowed me to see firsthand the impact we have within our community.»
«Our golf tournament is a great way to bring people together, enjoy a beautiful day of golf, and support an important cause. I'm honored to be involved and would like to thank everyone who came out.»
- Nick Suzuki
Let us also remember that the Montreal Canadiens' captain spent his entire summer here in Quebec, devoting his time to getting involved in his community.
This decision didn't come from the Canadiens' offices; it came from the person himself! It's hard not to admire this young man even more!
The social involvement of a player like Nick Suzuki says even more about the person than the player.
