Auston Matthews breaks the bank and becomes the highest paid player in the entire NHL
According to information reported by Chris Johnston of TSN, Auston Matthews has just signed a massive contract extension with the Toronto Maple Leafs.
The forward will earn an annual salary of $13.25 million for the next four seasons, thus becoming the highest paid player in the entire NHL.
We're talking about a 4-season deal with an annual salary of $13,250,000 for Auston Matthews. (A total of $53 million)
