A very special publication has just been shared by Arber Xhekaj
In recent months, we have mentioned a wonderful gesture by the young defenseman of the Montreal Canadiens, Arber Xhekaj, who partnered with the noble cause The Angel Project, aiming to raise funds for patients with complex diseases.
As part of a fundraising effort for the foundation, number 72 of the CH and his younger brother Florian, recently drafted by the Tricolore, were present to spend time with the fans and contribute to the charitable event.
Arber also used his platform to make a very special post to thank donors and contributors to the collection:
"This summer, my family and I teamed up with The Angel Project to support patients in complex care across Canada. A big thank you to Theendzonehamilton for hosting Florian Xhekaj and me for a major fundraiser.
An even bigger thanks to the city of Hamilton for coming out and showing their support!
All donations were greatly appreciated. If you couldn't attend and would like to make a donation or simply learn more, visit theangelproject.ca on Instagram or check out the website at www.theangelproject.ca.
Join Florian and me in helping give a voice to those who are forgotten!" - Arber Xhekaj We love seeing young players from the organization get so involved in their community. It's an act of immense generosity, and they prove they are wonderful human beings.
Congratulations to the Xhekaj brothers for their contribution to the cause!
