Last-Minute Signing in the Montreal Canadiens Organization: A Hometown Forward Joins the Lions and It's Maxime Trépanier
Another signing has just been announced in the Montreal Canadiens organization as Quebec forward Maxim Trépanier has signed a one-season contract with the Tricolore's affiliate club, the Trois-Rivières Lions.
"Maxim Trépanier will start his very first season with the Trois-Rivières Lions on October 20th!
The forward will certainly contribute to the Lions' offense, being recognized as a natural scorer!" - Trois-Rivières Lions
The forward from Saint-Jean-sur-Richelieu will join the Trois-Rivières team for the upcoming season. He will certainly be one to watch in 2023-2024, having had a lot of success in his last year in the LHJMQ, racking up 31 goals and 32 assists (63 points) in 53 games with the Halifax Mooseheads and the Shawinigan Cataractes.
He also played for Concordia University in the OUA over the last two seasons. The 24-year-old forward did very well with a notable haul of 20 goals and 15 assists (35 points) in 33 games in the university ranks.
