A completely unreal moment as 10 players received 10-minute misconducts at the same time
In the game between the Senators and the Panthers on Monday night, things got heated, to say the least. The two Tkachuk brothers were facing each other, with mom and dad in the arena watching.
Matthew started mixing it up, and Zack MacEwen jumped on him. The older Tkachuk brother still received a penalty on the play, and it was while he was in the penalty box that his younger brother Brady made unnecessary contact with the opposing goalie.
That was enough for all the players on the ice to get involved, and nobody wanted to let go.
As a result, all 10 players on the ice received 10-minute misconducts. Two minutes later, Sam Bennett and Mathieu Joseph also got 10-minute misconducts.
In short, there were almost no players left on both benches, and Paul Maurice was trying his best to count his remaining players to manage the end of the game. A scene that we're not likely to see again in today's NHL.
