A monstrous trade proposal involving Connor Bedard and the Toronto Maple Leafs has just been brought up
Every year, we see numerous trade proposals circulating on social networks a few weeks before the draft. This is particularly the case right now as we see trade proposals involving the Tricolore on a daily basis.
Fortunately, we are not the only ones who indulge in such predictions with the aim of debating the transactions that our favorite team should make to improve.
Indeed, the Instagram account Leafspapi, which is dedicated to the activities of the Toronto Leafs, has suggested a monstrous trade that would send star forward Auston Matthews and a second-round pick to the Chicago Blackhawks in return for the 1st overall pick.

Wow! Imagine if such a trade were to take place just before the draft. Of course, there is no information to suggest that this scenario could happen, but it would still be completely crazy!
It would certainly be a dream scenario for the Leafs who would get their hands on an 18-year-old generational player, while at the same time freeing up Auston Matthews' hefty contract to sign new free agents this summer.
