A rather concerning scene involving Juraj Slafkovsky: Did the CH forward suffer an injury?

In the last moments of the match against the New Jersey Devils, a scene involving the young Juraj Slafkovsky worried several Montreal fans.
Indeed, following a good body check, the Canadiens forward had to retreat to the locker room, where he seemed to have grabbed a trash can before continuing on his way.
«Juraj Slafkovsky went straight to the locker room after his last appearance.
He remained bent over the entire way between the offensive zone and the team bench.» - Marco D'Amico
We sincerely hope that Slafkovsky did not suffer a serious injury. Strangely, head coach Martin St-Louis did not comment on the situation of his player during his post-game press conference.
