Over the past two years, there have been so many injuries with the Canadiens that it seems like when one player returns to the game, two others end up in the infirmary.

Rafaël Harvey-Pinard made a return to the game, but Josh Anderson got injured, and now it's possibly Jesse Ylonen and Sean Monahan. When it rains, it pours!

Tanner Pearson will soon be back, so it took a bit of bad news to spice things up! Jokes aside, Jesse Ylonen did not finish Monday's game, and Sean Monahan was clearly uncomfortable during the match.

Both players took a day of treatment.

"Forwards Sean Monahan and Jesse Ylönen will not participate in today's practice (therapy day)."

- Montreal Canadiens

When we hear this kind of news and it involves Monahan, we instantly hold our breath. We know the center is capable of playing through significant pain, so seeing him in treatment is not a good sign.

As for Ylonen, it remains to be confirmed. According to what Marc Denis mentioned on Monday night, it seems he may have suffered an injury to an ear.

The Habs will face the Devils on Wednesday and the Senators on Thursday night. Samuel Montembeault will start tomorrow, with all indications that Primeau will play Thursday night.
