A few hours ago, the Montreal Canadiens organization announced that they were recalling two players, Joël Teasdale and Fred Allard, to strengthen the team. Renaud Lavoie, TVA Sports' insider, shared an interesting piece of information about these recalls.

It is unusual to see this in the NHL, but Kent Hughes and Martin St-Louis showed an admirable gesture towards Teasdale and Allard. Instead of simply notifying them of their recall via a message, they took the time to meet them in person after their game.

It is truly classy, and it must have been an unforgettable moment for the two young players.

"Joel Teasdale and Frederic Allard learned after the Laval Rocket game that they were being recalled following a meeting with Kent Hughes and Martin St-Louis." - Renaud Lavoie

The gesture of Hughes and St-Louis testifies to the new philosophy of the organization, which places importance on human relationships with players.

This kind of personal attention is rare in the NHL and deserves to be applauded. It is a beautiful gesture that shows that the Montreal Canadiens take care of their players and their development, both on and off the ice.
