A recent ranking that was published on social media regarding the best talents under 23 in the NHL has taken many by surprise, especially concerning the young players of the Montreal Canadiens.

The organization is well represented by having four players among the 32 ranked, including Juraj Slafkovsky, Cole Caufield, Kaiden Guhle, and Kirby Dach.

Furthermore, this ranking will rekindle hope for the fans of the Tricolore, especially regarding the presence of Slafkovsky, who appears in tier 2 of the list, being labeled an 'elite talent'. He is notably in great company with interesting names like Tim Stutzle, Matty Beniers, Dylan Cozen, and Moritz Seider.

The Canadiens' first overall pick in 2022 is even in a better tier than Caufield, who is in the third, ranking the 'all-star' players. He is in the company of Trevor Zegras, Kent Johnson, Jake Sanderson, Matt Boldy, Mason McTavish, and Lucas Raymond.

Finally, we find Guhle in the 5th tier representing the 'players at the top of the lineup', while Dach is in the last tier, being the players 'on the edge of the top of the lineup'.

When we take into account that several promising prospects of the team are not yet represented in this ranking, having not yet laced up their skates in the NHL, like Lane Hutson, David Reinbacher, Logan Mailloux, and others, we can admit that the Canadiens are truly on the right path to building a solid team.

Here is the complete ranking:
