Another Quebecer player has just snubbed the Montreal Canadiens
It seems to have become a tradition during the off-season, after Alex Belzile and Anthony Richard, another Quebecer has just snubbed the Montreal Canadiens.
Indeed, as reported by Anthony Marcotte of BPM Sports, defenseman Nikolas Brouillard was very close to joining the Montreal organization.
However, since the Tricolore only offered him an American League contract, he opted for a deal with the New York Rangers.
At the age of 28, he concluded a good campaign with the San Diego Gulls this year, posting a total of 39 points in 72 games.
