Another incredible milestone is within reach for Cole Caufield, and it's exciting for the Montreal Canadiens
Cole Caufield is a goal scorer, and since the beginning of his career, he has proven it many times. In 144 games, he has scored 59 goals, which is a good average, especially considering that his production was virtually nonexistent in his first 40 games.
As we know, Cole holds the record for the player who reached the marks of five, six, and seven goals in overtime the fastest in NHL history. That's no small feat! It proves that he knows how to score and that he can do it in crucial moments. Only exceptional athletes can achieve such a feat.
Now, the young forward could etch his name in Canadiens history by becoming the fifth player to score 60 goals before playing 150 games. Only Howie Morenz, Maurice Richard, Jean Béliveau, and Joe Benoit precede him.
So, Cole has six games left to score a goal and join these legends of the Canadiens.
