Another injury to an important player for the Canadiens: Good news under the circumstances for defenseman Michael Matheson
Once again, on Saturday night, the Canadiens came back from a 3-1 deficit to win 4-3 in overtime. It's a great victory, but once again, there was an injury during the game.
Defenseman Michael Matheson had to leave the game and did not return afterward. Another setback for the Canadiens.
However, there is good news, as the team confirmed that number 8 is suffering from a minor lower-body injury and will travel with the team in the coming days.
"Defenseman Mike Matheson has a lower-body injury and is listed as day-to-day. He will travel with the team to Vegas tomorrow."
- Montreal Canadiens
We're so used to bad news that we were expecting the worst in his case. Fortunately, it was a precautionary measure, for once.
