Another player acquired for future considerations in the Canadiens' organization, as the rights of Jake Bricknell have been acquired by the Lions
Kent Hughes seems to have a penchant for acquiring players for future considerations, much like he did with Sean Monahan. His actions are evident throughout the organization, and the Lions of Trois-Rivières have recently done something similar.
Sitting at the top of the ECHL overall standings, the Lions bolstered their depth by acquiring the rights of forward Jake Bricknell in exchange for future considerations.
The 26-year-old, who was never drafted, has registered one goal and one assist in three games with Cincinnati this season. He may not be a prolific offensive player, but he brings an interesting physical presence and, most importantly, experience.
Welcome to the Lions!
