BREAKING: Canadiens Acquire Player From Divisional Rival
The Montreal Canadiens have just brokered a trade with the Ottawa Senators acquiring a player!
Habs Acquire Novak
The Montreal Canadiens and Ottawa Senators have made a trade!
TRADE
To Montreal Canadiens
-Jakov Novak
To Ottawa Senators:
-Future Considerations
The Canadiens received a player who will likely play with their AHL team, the Laval Rocket, next year while the Senators cleared a reserve list slot.
Novak played in the ECHL last year posting strong numbers of 12 points in 14 games with the Allen Americans but his NCAA stats were 12 points in only 35 games.
Novak stands at 6'3" and 203lbs so he has an NHL frame. On top of this, Novak is a leader having been an alternate captain for Northeastern, a school he only spent two seasons at.
If Novak can put his tools together, we could one day hopefully see him suit up for the Habs!
