Bell Media Confirms the Departure of a Popular TSN Host
We just learned some big news.
Bell Media has just released an official statement regarding one of its popular hosts on TSN.
According to a Bell Media spokesperson, former NHLer Jeff O'Neill isn't on the air anymore.
He is known for hosting the very popular show Overdrive on TSN 1050, as well as covering NHL games.
The same conclusion was reported by Sean Fitzgerald of The Athletic.
"He's fine, that's all I can say," said his co-host Bryan Hayes during yesterday's show, "All we can say is that we appreciate the supportive messages. We appreciate the concerns. We wanted to let you know that ODog (O'Neill) is on leave, and that's all we're going to say about it for now. But the show will go on."
It should be noted that he has been working at TSN since 2013.
In addition to his media career, he played 821 games in the NHL, accumulating a record of 237 goals and 496 points.
