Breaking: Martin St-Louis reveals his starting lineup for the first game of the season
We now know the players who will be in uniform for the first game of the season against the Toronto Maple Leafs!
Indeed, knowing that the team did not practice this morning, only the reserves jumped onto the ice at Scotiabank Arena.
Of course, goalies Samuel Montembeault and Cayden Primeau were present, since the Canadiens' head coach, Martin St-Louis, had confirmed that Jake Allen would get the start.
In addition, forward Michael Pezzetta and defenseman Justin Barron were also there, thus confirming that they will be left out for tonight's showdown.
"No practice today for the #CH in Toronto. Technically, those who skate this morning won't play tonight.
Pezzetta, Barron, Montembeault, and Primeau are on the ice right now." - Luc Gélinas
Clearly, there will be no changes to the lineup deployed by Martin St-Louis in recent days.
So, we can expect to see this roster in the game against the Leafs:
