Corey Perry and the rumor about Connor Bedard: Blackhawks' General Manager Breaks the Silence
The rumor from yesterday has circulated widely on the web. Millions of people saw this nonsense that Corey Perry allegedly had relations with Connor Bedard's mother, which is completely false.
In the last few minutes, General Manager Kyle Davidson addressed the media to comment on the situation for the first time. Unfortunately, he couldn't provide more details beyond what is already known.
Perry is said to have violated the team's policies regarding safety and ethics. In his press conference, Davidson assured that it has nothing to do with a player or a member of their family, and he even added that the rumor is disgusting.
GM Kyle Davidson said he won't be able to disclose many details about the Corey Perry incident.
However, the rumors about it involving players or families are "wildly inaccurate and frankly disgusting."
So, we can officially remove that option from the list. No one else on the Blackhawks was involved in what happened.
Out of respect for the player, Davidson added that he would not provide more details, and that's understandable. We already know enough to understand that the Blackhawks' reasons are legitimate.
