Daniel Brière has just Achieved Something that has Never been Seen in the History of the NHL
Earlier in the day, we reported that Philadelphia Flyers defenseman, Anthony DeAngelo, was placed on NHL waivers.
Tweet:
After trying to trade him over the past few days, Daniel Brière finally decided to use extreme measures to get rid of him, opting for a buyout of his contract.
Now, in making this decision, Brière has achieved a first in the history of the NHL.
Indeed, being bought out by the Flyers, DeAngelo has become the first player in the league to suffer this fate at least twice during his career.
Tweet:
It's quite incredible that at the age of only 27, he has already been bought out twice since his debut in the National League.
Who would have thought that Anthony DeAngelo was the only one in the history of the NHL to have been bought out at least twice during his career?
