David Reinbacher has already made a very disappointing statement after his selection
We just learned surprising news about the Canadiens' 5th overall pick, David Reinbacher.
He has outrightly mentioned having things to do before arriving in North America, where his development might take a different turn by playing on National League-sized ice, notably with the Laval Rocket.
Reinbacher says he still has a year of school, work, and a few things to do before coming.
Marc-Antoine Godin affirmed the same thing about the Austrian defenseman's intentions.
Reinbacher's preference is to return for another year in Switzerland rather than play in the American League for his D+1 year.
Let's just say this isn't going over well in the public opinion of Canadiens' fans who largely disapprove of his selection with the 5th overall pick.
Let's give the player a chance, but it already doesn't look good in the eyes of fans.
More details will follow.
