After several months of uncertainty, the matter has finally been settled!

"It was just a formality for the NHL to give its approval." - Renaud Lavoie
It's now official, Logan Mailloux will play with the Montreal Canadiens this season! We can finally put this matter behind us!
The journalist from TVA Sports also gave a very complimentary statement about the Canadiens' prospect. Renaud Lavoie expressed his belief that Logan Mailloux has a very promising future within the organization, potentially securing a spot on the team's top defensive pair once he reaches his full potential.
There's no doubt that the former London Knights player showed very encouraging signs during his last year in the Ontario Junior League. Still, it will be even more interesting to see how he will develop as he begins his professional career. We sincerely hope he continues his progression with the Laval Rocket and eventually becomes a mainstay in Martin St-Louis' lineup.
