Georges Laraque has a plan for Kent Hughes to bring two Quebecers to the Canadiens this summer

Many people think this way. Montreal needs more Quebecers. Other fans don't care about the players' origins, as long as they perform well. Both schools of thought are quite legitimate, and everyone is entitled to their opinion.
As for Georges Laraque, his opinion is very clear : there need to be more Quebecers, and he would be willing to pay a high price if he were in Kent Hughes' position.
Indeed, the former tough guy would trade the Panthers' first-round pick, along with one or two average prospects, for Pierre-Luc Dubois. He would then trade the Canadiens' first pick for Alexis Lafrenière.
Given the quality of this year's draft, the fact that the Canadiens will have a selection in the top 7, and that Pierre-Luc Dubois will be an unrestricted free agent without compensation in a year, we believe these ideas are far-fetched, but that's just our opinion.
