Important announcement for two players of the Montreal Canadiens
As the Canadiens prepare for tonight's matchup against the Minnesota Wild, Martin St-Louis has made two decisions that will please two players.
Firstly, Kirby Dach's injury opens up a spot for Michael Pezzetta. Since there hasn't been any call-up from the team, it was quite evident, but it's now confirmed.
The second player to receive good news is Samuel Montembeault. The goaltender performed well in the victory against the Blackhawks and deserved to get the start. We know that Martin rewards effort, and that's precisely what he's doing right now.
Now, it remains to be seen if the team will make a call-up for Joshua Roy in the coming days or if Christian Dvorak will be back to assist his teammates.
