Interesting last-minute signing by the Toronto Maple Leafs
It has just been announced that the Toronto Maple Leafs have signed a professional tryout contract with forward Noah Gregor.
At 25 years old, this fourth-round pick of the San Jose Sharks in 2016 amassed 17 points in 57 games last year. He has a total of 178 games in the NHL, where he has garnered 51 points along the way.
It's a very nice gamble for the Leafs organization, if Gregor manages to secure a contract for the upcoming season. He could certainly become an interesting addition to the team's depth.
