John Tortorella is already making headlines for the wrong reasons
It's the start of training camp in the NHL and the teams are ready to test their prospects and current players. There are always surprises every year, and it's great to see some young players making their mark, especially when they were underestimated.
While there are sometimes pleasant surprises, some things don't change. John Tortorella has made headlines again, as he called his B group "worthless".
The video says all there is to know, no need to add more. Let's just say it has caused a lot of talk around the NHL. Imagine being a player part of the B group and knowing that your coach has said something like that about your performance. It's not very good for team spirit.
Nevertheless, Tortorella is still behind an NHL bench, but he might well be the next "dinosaur" to leave, after Mike Babcock and Darryl Sutter.
