During a recent media availability, Montreal Canadiens' young forward Juraj Slafkovsky discussed several important topics. He talked about his long-awaited return to the ice today and his absence from the upcoming World Hockey Championships, as previously reported.
Although predictable, the question was asked. His answer was very direct. It doesn't surprise anyone, but it was still predictable that he would be asked this question: "Will you be at the World Championship in a few weeks?"
"The last time I was on the ice was January 15. What do you think?" - Slafkovsky
We love it!
"We have so many good players in Slovakia who have played. It would be a little weird if I added to the team. It would have been different if I had games at the end of the season, but I wouldn't have enough time to be the best version of myself."
Juraj Slafkovsky is without a doubt an excellent representative of his country and his national team. His presence in the press conference is always captivating and interesting.
