Kaiden Guhle is compared to a double Stanley Cup winner, no less!
It's been said so often since he entered the NHL; Kaiden Guhle plays like a veteran, and he's only 21. Marc Denis reiterated it on Sunday, noting that you can't really form a comprehensive opinion of a player until they've played 200 NHL games.
For Guhle, with less than 60 games of experience, Marc didn't hesitate to say that he acts like a veteran and will undoubtedly become a solid defenseman. There's just no flaw in his game.
Martin Lemay went even further, comparing Guhle to Alex Pietrangelo. We're talking about an established star defenseman who has been a stalwart defensively while also contributing offensively. In 962 games, Pietrangelo has amassed 580 career points and is an undisputed leader.
The young defenseman's ceiling is far from reached, and it's challenging to identify where the limit is in his case. It's very encouraging for the team's future.
