There will finally be a Montreal Canadiens hockey game tonight, as we will have the chance to see the young talents of the organization in action during their first game of the Rookie Tournament.
They will play their first matchup against the strong prospects of the Buffalo Sabres. The Sabres are likely to field many promising youngsters, such as Matthew Savoie, Zach Benson, Jiri Kulich, Isak Rosen, and Ryan Johnson, all of whom were first-round picks.
On the other hand, as revealed by the excellent journalist Marc-Antoine Godin from Radio-Canada, the Habs will also have a formidable forward line, as Emil Heineman, Owen Beck, and Joshua Roy will all be grouped together on the same unit for the duration of the tournament.
It will also be interesting to see the combination of Sean Farrell, Riley Kidney, and Filip Mesar, three promising prospects of the Canadiens as well.
We are very excited to see that David Reinbacher and Logan Mailloux will be participating in this game, as well as Jakub Dobes in goal. The pairing of William Trudeau and Reinbacher is bound to be interesting to watch.
