Last-minute recall from the Canadiens: A defenseman joins the team from the Laval Rocket and it's Mattias Norlinder
After a training camp well beyond expectations, Mattias Norlinder finally gets his chance!
The defenseman has just been recalled by the Canadiens, so he'll be off to Anaheim in the next few hours.
There are currently 12 forwards and seven defensemen on the team, including Norlinder. This choice makes sense, since the defense is fragile, with Gustav Lindstrom and Jayden Struble on the 3rd pair.
If there's an adjustment to be made on that side, Norlinder will be there. The Canadiens had to put Jordan Harris' name on the injured list to be able to issue this recall.
